MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (October 28, 2025) — The date November 4, 2000, is a special one for Kristin Whitver Fouts, a 2003 graduate of Monmouth College.

It's also proof that college — and life — can be full of surprises.

Today, Fouts serves as the director of education and chapter development for Zeta Beta Tau fraternity. It's an interesting position to hold for someone who entered college with no thoughts at all of being in a sorority.

FLINT, MICHIGAN (October 28, 2025) — Kettering University welcomed Ashton Nix, of Eldridge, Iowa, to campus during its fall Convocation this October. Held in the Connie and Jim John Recreation Center, the ceremony brought together 254 new students and their families to mark the official start of their Kettering experience.
