WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (May 14, 2025) — Des Moines University (DMU) Medicine and Health Sciences recognized 160 students with service and leadership awards on Wednesday, May 7. These awards shine light unto the dedication and compassion each student holds to furthering their health-care career through volunteerism and paving the way for the future of medicine and health sciences.

ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS (May 14, 2025) — Gage Hugart of Port Byron, Illinois, is announced as a Spring 2025 Distinguished Scholar at Rockford University. Full-time (twelve or more credits) students who earned at least a 3.75 GPA with no grades below "C" and completed all requirements for the semester are named Distinguished Scholars.

PELLA, IOWA (May 14, 2025) — Central College recognized 249 graduates during Commencement 2025 on May 10, in Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium on Central's campus.

WAVERLY, IOWA (May 12, 2025) — Four Wartburg College students' creations were recognized at the Art Directors Association of Iowa's 67th annual Design Exhibition in Des Moines at the beginning of April.

ADELPHI, MARYLAND (May 12, 2025) — Bryce William Collins of Eldridge, Iowa, earned a Master of Science in Cloud Computing Systems from University of Maryland Global Campus in winter 2025.

Collins was one of nearly 900 students who earned degrees from UMGC in the winter 2025 term.

PELLA, IOWA (May 12, 2025) — Colleen Kenney of Taylor Ridge, Illinois, is one of 24 Central College psychology students and recent alumni who presented research at the annual Midwestern Psychological Association, April 9-12, in Chicago. Kenney, a Class of 2026 Psychology major, presented “Does the Career of a Child Medical Abuse Perpetrator Impact Perceptions of the Crime's Severity?”
