WHITEWATER, WISCONSIN (February 16, 2026) — Sarah Prigge from Port Byron, Illinois, earned a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at winter commencement, held December 13, 2025.

Students crossed the stage to receive their degrees at the ceremony, held at Kachel Fieldhouse in the Williams Center.

Prigge graduated Summa Cum Laude with the following degree: Psychology — BS.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (February 16, 2026) — Augustana College announces the publication of Called to Reckon: Replacing History and Reclaiming Mission at a Midwestern College,  a faculty-edited volume released by Southern Illinois University Press that examines how institutions wrestle with history, identity, and responsibility over time.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (February 16, 2026) — In 1969, before he was even born, eventual Monmouth College graduate Dave Mann lost his father in the Vietnam War.

Fifty-six years later, Mann visited the site of his father's death at Dak To through the 2 Sides Project.

MISSISSIPPI STATE, MISSISSIPPI (February 16, 2026) — Nicholas Esposito, of Moline, Illinois, is among nearly 1,400 students graduating from Mississippi State University in fall 2025.

Esposito received the Master of Science from MSU's Bagley College of Engineering.

ATHENS, OHIO (February 16, 2026) — Ohio University Russ College of Engineering and Technology student Sinou Damadogbe of Carbon Cliff, Illinois, has been named to OHIO's Fall 2025 Provost's List.

At the end of each semester, Ohio University's undergraduate students are evaluated based on their semester GPA and hours to determine placement on the President's List, Dean's List, or Provost's List.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (February 12, 2026) — Upper Iowa University is pleased to announce that, effective January 1, 2026, its Quad Cities location has relocated to Eastern Iowa Community Colleges — Scott Community College, located at 500 Belmont Road in Bettendorf, Iowa. Upper Iowa University will be housed in Room 1203 on the Scott campus.

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (February 11, 2026) — Central State University, a historically Black college and university in Wilberforce, Ohio, and Des Moines University Medicine (DMU) and Health Sciences in West Des Moines, Iowa, announced a partnership that expands access and priority pathways for CSU students into DMU's graduate medical and health-science programs.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (February 11, 2026) — A Monmouth College graduate who's paired an extremely successful legal career with shaping his world through service and leadership will deliver the keynote address at his alma mater's 169th Commencement Exercises.

Retired attorney Brad Nahrstadt ('89), who's served on the Monmouth College Board of Trustees for nearly a quarter-century, will address the Class of 2026 at noon, May 17, on Wallace Hall Plaza.

WAVERLY, IOWA (February 11, 2026) — Thirty-one Wartburg College students have been accepted into the college's Teacher Education Program.
