SPRINGFIELD (April 6, 2018) – The newly-formed bipartisan bicameral Legislative Public Safety Working Group met late yesterday to begin discussions on a wide range of issues that impact the safety and security of Illinois citizens.
On April 11, 2018 the Scott County Sheriffs Office responded to a fatality accident at the intersection of 240th Avenue and 290th Street south of McCausland. The deceased driver of the vehicle has been identified as Chad Alan Soenksen, 42, of Clinton, Iowa. Soenksen was pronounced deceased on scene by Medic Ambulance.
All City of Davenport offices & Public Works Center will be closed.
Police Department front desk and records office will be closed.
Library Main, Fairmount and Eastern branches will be closed.
Parks & Recreation administrative offices will be closed.
River’s Edge will be open from 7am – 9:30pm, front desk will be open from 7am – 7pm. Public skate is
offered from 11am – 1p and 6pm – 8pm.
Vander Veer Conservatory will be open from 10am – 4pm. The conservatory will also be open Easter
The following notice is from Public Works. Starting today, Monday, March 19, the right northbound lane of Brady St will be closed between River Drive and 2nd Street, and 2nd St heading east from Main to Brady will be reduced to one lane of traffic.
