BETTENDORF, IOWA (September 23, 2025) — One in five US adults experience mental illness each year, and one in six US youth aged six through seventeen experience a mental-health disorder annually. Yet less than half of them receive treatment. MUSCATINE, IOWA (September 4, 2025) — One in five people in the US are diagnosed with a mental-health condition each year. Research indicates people with mental-health conditions are more able to recover fully if they are supported at home. NAMI Greater Mississippi Valley will offer two free, nationally-developed mental-health education programs in Muscatine to provide important information to family members and friends of people living with a mental-health condition.
