Iowa Public Television will Celebrate its IPTV KIDS Channel Launch with Statewide Pajama Parties!

Families may join the fun at four Iowa locations or by hosting their own pajama party.  Johnston, Iowa -  Iowa Public Television will host family pajama parties across Iowa on Friday, December 1, 2017 to coincide with the launch of IPTV KIDS .2, a new channel devoted entirely to children's programming. The parties will begin at 6:30 p.m. and include screenings of "PBS KIDS Family Night" programs.  WHO:  Fans of PBS KIDS and IPTV KIDS

Iowa Public Television Presents Iowa Experience: Vietnam

Johnston, Iowa - Iowa Public Television announced today the premiere of Iowa Experience: Vietnam Monday, October 2 at 7 p.m. The hour-long program will air again Tuesday, October 24 at 9:30 p.m. on statewide Iowa Public Television and Saturday, October 28 at 9 a.m. on IPTV WORLD (.3).

MOLINE, ILLINOIS – WQPT - Quad Cities PBS in partnership with the QC Vet Center will be hosting screenings of Ken Burns’ documentary “The Vietnam War” at Western Illinois University – Quad Cities on the following dates and times:

            Monday, September 25 at 7:00 pm (Episode 1: Déjà Vu covering 1958-1961)

            Tuesday, September 26 at 7:00 pm (Episode 2: Riding the Tiger 1961-1963)

Quad-Cities Prime-Time Special Explores Teen Depression and Suicide

IA/IL QUAD-CITIES – Suicide among young people is not easy to discuss, but it is still a topic that cannot be ignored. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for ages 13 to 19, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. “The team at Mickle Communications believes we must come together as a community to battle this epidemic,” said Mike Mickle, President of Mickle Communications.
