St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2363 West 3rd Street, Davenport, Iowa presents Mark Johns and the “Prodigal Sons” Jazz Band on Sunday, July 23rd  at the 9:00AM service. The band will play special music and lead the singing of hymns in the Dixieland style. The Vacation Bible School children will also present a message and sing.

Head downtown on Thursday, August 3rd from 11:00am to 1:00pm where folks will be dancin’ in the street! Don Estes and the Prairie Ramblers, with the help of Bos Sound, will be playing live jazz for the Davenport Public Library’s annual Bix Porch Party at Main (321 Main Street). Be sure to bring a lawn chair as we block off Main Street for some good old-fashioned fun!

The Quad Cities Ballet Folklorico (QCBF) will be presenting their Mexican Fiesta X 2017 Dance Recital on Saturday, August 12th at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Moline, IL at 7:00 PM. The students of QCBF will be performing a variety of traditional mexican dances from states such as Chiapas, Sinaloa, Veracruz, Jalisco and many more.
