DES MOINES, IOWA (October 24, 2023) — Attorney General Brenna Bird has announced actions the Iowa Attorney General’s Office will be taking to prosecute election misconduct and fraud cases.

Under the government reorganization law that Governor Kim Reynolds signed earlier this year, the Iowa Attorney General’s Office was given the responsibility to prosecute cases relating to election integrity. The law went into effect on July 1 of this year.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 18, 2023) — Scott County Auditor Kerri Tompkins reminds voters they can begin casting their ballot today at the Scott County Auditor’s Office on the first floor. DES MOINES, IOWA (October 16, 2023) — The Biden Administration’s EPA announced on Friday, October 13, its withdrawal of a burdensome cybersecurity mandate that Iowa Attorney General Bird challenged in a lawsuit in March 2023. This mandate would have significantly raised water prices for Iowans in small and rural public water systems. Iowa joined the Missouri-led lawsuit, along with Arkansas and the American Water Works Association and National Rural Water Association.
