DES MOINES, IOWA (February 5, 2025) — Governor Kim Reynolds issued the following statement after joining President Donald Trump as he signed the “No Men in Women's Sports” executive order:

DES MOINES, IOWA (February 5, 2025) — Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird has announced a victory defeating the Biden-Harris Administration’s illegal highway-emissions mandate that attempted to drive gas-powered vehicles off the road.

DES MOINES, IOWA (February 4, 2025) — On Monday, February 3, a federal district court ruled to shut down the Biden-Harris environmental roadblocks for development projects. The illegal Biden-Harris mandate threatened expensive red-tape regulations and delays for projects like housing, power plants, roads, and bridges. The mandate also created an illegal double standard, favoring projects aligned with the Biden-Harris extreme green agenda and burdening those using traditional energy.

DES MOINES, IOWA (January 16, 2025) — Governor Kim Reynolds has released the Families First Bill to the Iowa House and Senate.

Gov Reynolds is proposing four weeks of paid maternity leave and one week of paid paternity leave for state employees.

Gov Reynolds is also proposing four weeks of paid leave for state employees who adopt a child. Currently, the state offers no paid parental leave to its employees who are caring for a new child.

DES MOINES, IOWA (January 16, 2025) In an e-mail to grassroots supporters earlier today, State Auditor Rob Sand announced record fundraising in 2024, with more than $8.4 million raised and 28,000 grassroots donations. As Auditor Sand continues to hold powerful government officials accountable, despite them changing the law to make it easier to hide waste, fraud, and abuse, Iowans are stepping up to support his work.
