Felix Adler Children's Discovery Center “Clinton, Iowa’s Children’s Museum” an A-May-zing Time

CLINTON, IOWA (May 9, 2019) — The Felix Adler Children’s Discovery Center, "Clinton, Iowa's Children's Museum," is making many magical moments in May. At WOW Wednesday you’ll experiment with leftover Peeps. Then, it’s time for music with Miss April and Miss Amanda at Funtime Friday. Each of these programs is free with regular museum admission or membership. Monday, May 20, brings a Pizza Ranch Fundraiser Night, 5-8PM, as well as Wendy’s Fundraiser Night, 5-7PM.

Figge Art Museum Executive Director to Leave This Summer, Having Established Solid Foundation for Museum’s Future

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 3, 2019) — Cindy Carlson, President of the Board of Directors of the Figge Art Museum, announced today that Tim Schiffer, Executive Director and CEO, has given notice of his intent to resign effective later this summer. “We are very grateful for Tim’s contributions to the Figge and the community as a whole,” Carlson said. “We will greatly miss the leadership, knowledge, and love for art that he brought to the Figge.”

The gallery will be on display during opening-hours this week (Tuesday-Saturday, 10AM-4PM) and Tuesday next week, to see the amazing works of local students.
