DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 4, 2019) — The Figge Art Museum will feature Submerged in the Sublime: The Landscape Photography of Kim Keever beginning Saturday in the museum’s fourth floor gallery.

Artist Kim Keever’s landscape photographs are no ordinary photographs. Rather than images of actual places, Keever, a former engineer with a background in fluid dynamics, creates fictitious scenes within the confines of a large fish tank.

CLINTON, IOWA (January 24, 2019) — The Felix Adler Children's Discovery Center, "Clinton, Iowa's Children's Museum," is popping up with these fun activities and events. You’ll be magnetized with magnetic marble mazes on WOW Wednesday. Then, sit down with Miss Jessica from Clinton County Conservation to talk about Groundhog Day on Funtime Friday.

Davenport, Iowa (January 24, 2019) — The bond between humans and animals permeates our language, as well as our art. The earliest known forms of visual expression included depictions of animals scrawled on cave walls. That tradition continues today with many contemporary artists centering their practice on the examination of animals and our connection to them.

On exhibit from February 1 through March 22, 2019, will be paintings by Kenneth Cunningham of Eldridge, IA, and spray-paint collages by Brain Schulz of Davenport, IA.

Davenport, Iowa (January 14, 2019) – The second-floor Lewis Gallery at the Figge Art Museum will have Art Nouveau Amphora on view beginning Saturday. The exhibition is organized by the Figge Art Museum and features works from several private collections.
