An Indian American dhol player, drummer, and Indo jazz composer lauded by Coda Magazine for his "groundbreaking synthesis," Sunny Jain serves as the latest guest in Quad City Arts' Visiting Artist Series, his four public events from December 3 through 5 delivering a celebration of cultural diaspora: deep-rooted tradition that ripples outward, changing – and being changed by – the cultures that it touches.

Touring in support of their acclaimed sophomore album Fools Parade, the summertime release hailed by Far Out Magazine as "another stellar bag of sincere and captivating psychedelia," the California-based rockers of Color Green headline a November 30 concert at Davenport's Raccoon Motel, their latest inspiring Psychedelic Scene to rave, "With each note and every lyric, they invite listeners to join them on a transcendent sonic adventure, where the only limit is the boundless expanse of the imagination."

Roughly 40 photographs showcasing the exhilarating and dangerous world of motorsport will be on display at the University of Dubuque's Bisignano Art Gallery, with the exhibition Freezing Speed – Ian Brightman offering evocative, arresting images through December 31.

Following last year's hugely successful QCSO at the Movies presentations of Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince, as well as such franchise hits as Sorcerer's Stone in 2017, Prisoner of Azkaban in 2019, and Order of the Phoenix in 2022, the Quad City Symphony Orchestra returns to Davenport's Adler Theatre on November 23 to perform live accompaniment for Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, the seventh movie smash adapted from J.K. Rowling's iconic fantasy/adventure novels.
