Named one of country music's top 10 touring acts by Billboard magazine and described by The Daily Country as an “energizing stage presence” who's “the definition of a road warrior,” singer/songwriter, guitarist, and Iowa native Jake McVey takes the stage at Davenport's Redstone Room on February 7, treating fans to the talents that inspired Hoopla Now to rave, “McVey has a big warm voice that is a pleasure to hear, and he can deliver a guitar solo with an appealing swagger.”

Touring in conjunction with the fall release of her sophomore album A Million Miles Away, singer/songwriter and guitarist Elizabeth Moen serves as the headliner for a Moeller Nights concert on February 15, with the Iowa native's gifts inspiring The Culture Trip to rave, “Elizabeth Moen is one of those rare artists whose voice, from the first moment you hear it, consumes your entire being, doing away with all previous thoughts and concerns, and leaving you short of breath.”

The personal beliefs and significant experiences of two Iowa-based artisans will be expressed in a fascinating pair of Quad City Arts Center Gallery exhibitions February 1 through March 22: Esprit De Corps: The Brotherhood of Paratroopers, Rangers, & Special Forces at War by Eldridge painter Kenneth Cunningham, and Sophisticated Disobedience by Davenport's stpray-paint-college artist Brian Schulz.

From February 1 through March 31, vibrant watercolors by one of the Quad Cities' most accomplished artists will be showcased in Tom Hempel: Retrospective, a exhibited collection of works by the Davenport-based talent who has painted more than 1,700 originals depicting a wide variety of subjects that include water scenes, landscapes, and the architecture of area homes, schools, office buildings, and churches.
