For 30 years, the Reader has memorialized in print and online how nearly all local, state, and national legislators, staff within executive agencies, and jurists, regardless of political party, have epically failed in representing the electorates' interests and Constitutionally protected inalienable rights they swore to uphold as mandated by their oath of office.

There are only a few things on this good Earth that can provide sustained joy – animals are at the top of the list, especially our family pets, whose instinctive sense of abundance is limitless, unconditional, and immediate.

A nexus of events culminated this summer in shocking reports, congressional hearing transcripts, and court rulings that have revealed just how far off the reservation the federal government really is relative to egregious, unlawful violations of hundreds of thousands of Americans' constitutionally protected First Amendment rights, especially Free Speech.

Governments and health authorities, including the World Health Organization, are signaling plans to deploy new emergency health mitigations this fall, including resurrecting the old failures such as masks, social distancing, remote working, and learning, no doubt invoking a new health emergency, claiming to combat SARS-CoV-2 variants and the spread of COVID-19.
