ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (November 30, 2023) — Rachel Nandelenga, a senior pre-medicine and neuroscience major from Cary, Illinois, was selected as a student laureate for The Lincoln Academy of Illinois. She was nominated by Augustana College President Andrea Talentino.

PELLA, IOWA (November 30, 2023) — NASA and the moon landings connected curious minds at Central College as 150 prospective students attended a Scholar Day in November. These events welcomed admitted students to campus to learn about the college and to earn additional academic scholarships, up to full tuition.

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (November 28, 2023) — Members of the osteopathic medicine Class of 2024 in the Des Moines University (DMU) College of Osteopathic Medicine achieved the highest pass-rate among all osteopathic medical schools nationwide on the Level 1 exam of the COMLEX-USA national board exams, which is taken by all future osteopathic physicians. The DMU class attained a 98.6% pass rate, which was a full eight percentage points above the national average.

SEWARD, NEBRASKA (November 27, 2023) — On Saturday, November 4, Concordia's programming team ended their competitive programming season with the North Central North America Regional. This regional contest is part of the International Collegiate Programming Competition (ICPC), where thousands of universities from around the world strive to solve as many programming problems as possible, as fast as possible.
