Elected Officials to Tour Arrowhead Youth and Family Services

COAL VALLEY, ILLINOIS (December 4, 2023) — State Representative Gregg Johnson, State Senator Mike Halpin, and Congressman Eric Sorensen’s District Director Elle Peoples will visit and tour Arrowhead Ranch on Thursday, December 7, 1PM.

Also attending will be Coal Valley Mayor Mike Bartels, Sheriff Darren Hart, States Attorney Dora Villarreal, Public Defender Hany Khoury, Rock Island County Board Chairman Richard Brunk, and 708 Mental Health Board Chair Pat Moreno.

Central College's Scholar Day Opens NASA Discussion with Admitted Students

These events welcomed admitted students to campus to learn about the college and to earn additional academic scholarships, up to full tuition.

Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine Achieve the Highest Board Exam Score in the Nation

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (November 28, 2023) — Members of the osteopathic medicine Class of 2024 in the Des Moines University (DMU) College of Osteopathic Medicine achieved the highest pass-rate among all osteopathic medical schools nationwide on the Level 1 exam of the COMLEX-USA national board exams, which is taken by all future osteopathic physicians. The DMU class attained a 98.6% pass rate, which was a full eight percentage points above the national average.

SEWARD, NEBRASKA (November 27, 2023) — On Saturday, November 4, Concordia's programming team ended their competitive programming season with the North Central North America Regional. This regional contest is part of the International Collegiate Programming Competition (ICPC), where thousands of universities from around the world strive to solve as many programming problems as possible, as fast as possible.
