DES MOINES, IOWA (September 10, 2019) — Breeze-hill Angus of State Center was awarded the Grand Champion Bull banner in the Angus Show judged at the 2019 Iowa State Fair.

Rowdi Van Zee of Sioux Center had a very strong showing at the fair, taking home Champion Iowa Bull, Reserve Grand Champion Bull and Premier Exhibitor, as well as Grand Champion Female.

Kara Collison of Rockwell City was awarded Champion Iowa Female and Reserve Grand Champion Female.

DES MOINES, IOWA (September 10, 2019) — The very best in Percheron and Clydesdale horses competed in the Richard O Jacobson Exhibition Center August 15 through 18 at the 2019 Iowa State Fair.

Shining Stars of Pleasant Hill won the show's Six-Horse Hitch Showdown of all breeds.

DES MOINES, IOWA (September 10, 2019) — Winners in more than 70 classes of competition were named in the 2019 Iowa State Fair Quarter Horse Show.

The Iowa State Fair Quarter Horse Show was a double-judged show. In such a show, the use of two judges, independent of one another, takes place. Thus, two sets of results are produced with two full sets of American Quarter Horse Association points being awarded.

DES MOINES, IOWA (September 6, 2019) — Reed Family Berks of Ottumwa won the Champion Gilt in the Berkshire Show at the 2019 Iowa State Fair. The Reserve Gilt was shown by Brent Meister of Kingsley. The Champion Boar banner went to Brennan Lynch of Boone while the Reserve Champion Boar banner was awarded to Ploeger Show Pigs of Pierson.

Animals are divided according to farrowing date based on the other animals entered in the competition.
