BETTENDORF, IOWA (October 29, 2025) — This summer, neighbors across the Quad Cities dug into their backyards and community plots with a shared purpose: Grow food, fight hunger, and build stronger connections. Thanks to support from the Quad Cities Community Foundation’s Transformation Grant, Tapestry Farms has launched GIFT Gardens (Growing Illowa Food Together), a community-driven food initiative.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 27, 2025) — The Quad Cities Passenger Rail Committee, in collaboration with the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, continues to advocate for full funding of the long-awaited passenger-rail connection between Chicago and the Quad Cities. During the first week of the Illinois legislative veto session, community leaders traveled to the Capitol to emphasize the importance of this transformational infrastructure project.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (October 14, 2025) — The Circle of Healing, a group dedicated to uplifting African-American individuals and communities, is proud to announce Her Voice Media as the recipient of its 2025 $6,500 grant. This award recognizes organizations making a profound impact on the well-being, resilience, and empowerment of marginalized communities, and Her Voice Media exemplifies this mission through its transformative work.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (September 29, 2025) — Thirty-six local non-profits are receiving $629,000 through the Quad Cities Community Foundation’s Operations and Program Grants.

The Operations and Program Grants are made possible by generous donations to Field of Interest Funds as well as the Quad Cities Community Impact Fund. The grants make up the Community Foundation’s largest competitive grantmaking cycle each year.
