CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (May 7, 2019) — The Families Helping Families of Iowa (FHF) board and staff are weeks away from their organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year. However, this year’s fundraiser will be a little different than it has been in the past. In addition to a silent auction fundraiser, this year’s event will also include food and beverage sampling from over 25 local establishments.

IOWA CITY, IOWA (March 25, 2019) — Over 200 members of the 100+ Men Who Care: Hawkeye Chapter have selected Courage Ride to receive their first philanthropy donation of 2019 at their first quarterly meeting on February 21. Courage Ride is an annual charity bike-ride that has raised over $510,000 for sarcoma-cancer research at the University of Iowa’s Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center over the past 14 years.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (March 20, 2019) — Legendary rock group KISS did more than pack the TaxSlayer Center last weekend, they helped the Storm reach their goal of giving back over $100,000 to the community in their inaugural season.

Dubbed as “the community’s team,” Quad City Storm owners John Dawson and Ryan Mosley put their money where their promise was. Over 75 organizations have received checks from the Storm so far this season with three games still to go.
