BETTENDORF, IOWA (March 2, 2020) — Nearly 2,000 girl’s lives are being changed through a new Girl Scouts community-outreach program. This program directly supports at-risk girls in the underserved areas of Moline, Rock Island, Davenport, and Muscatine by building courage, confidence, and character through a Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 5, 2020) — Family Resources will hold their annual Opening Doors Gala: A Night of Music on Friday, April 3, 2020, at the Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf, Iowa. The evening includes live entertainment, a cocktail hour, and silent auction beginning at 6PM with dinner, program, and live auction to follow.

GALESBURG, ILLINOIS (December 18, 2019) — As part of its 3rd Annual Hy-Vee Hams for the Holidays campaign, Galesburg-area Hy-Vee employees and local first responders will distribute 225 Hormel® Cure 81® hams on Thursday, December 19, to benefit families in need this holiday season.

Hams will be available starting at 5PM at the Public Safety Building, 150 S Broad St, in Galesburg. The event will run for one hour or until all hams are distributed, whichever occurs first.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (November 19, 2019) — GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Centers announced 8 prestigious awards at its Annual International Leadership Conference in Schaumburg, Illinois on Saturday, November 9. Over 350 people from 60 GiGi’s Playhouse locations from around the country and Mexico gathered at the five-day conference, which boasted 91 break-outs and 67 speakers.
