CHURCHES UNITED DISTRIBUTES 1M POUNDS OF FOOD

Over 1 million pounds of food were distributed in 2016 to more than 170,000 individuals at Churches United of the Quad Cities’ 25 free food pantries and three hot meal sites in Iowa and Illinois.

That’s nearly 3 percent of the greater Quad City Area population!

THE TJX FOUNDATION AWARDS SHELTER GRANT TO CHURCHES UNITED

Churches United of the Quad City Area is very thankful to the TJX Foundation for a $1,500.00 grant, in support of its Shelter Program in the Quad City Area. This generous support is critical in keeping Winnie’s Place in operation, in order to shelter women (with or without children) who are homeless and/or victims of domestic violence.
