Davenport, Iowa – The Center for Active Seniors, Inc. (CASI) Bridal Garage Sale is Sunday, April 23, from 11am to 2pm at CASI, 1035 West Kimberly Road, Davenport, IA 52806. Soon-to- be brides can shop the various vendor stations as well as the garage sale tables where past brides and vendors are selling their wares.

Simply leave a donation at your table and 100% of the proceeds will go to Special Olympics Iowa. Local law enforcement officials will serve meals and bus tables, allowing all tips to also benefit athletes with intellectual disabilities.

Iowa FFA to Package and Donate 200,000 Meals

AMES, IA - The Iowa FFA Association and Meals from the Heartland are proud to announce that they will partner together to package 200,000 meals at the 89th Iowa FFA Leadership Conference at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa on Sunday, April 9th and Monday, April 10th . 2017 marks the sixth year these two organizations have engaged in this partnership.

PORT BYRON, IL - The Nick Teddy Foundation is teaming up with the Quad City Mallards on Friday, March 24, at the iWireless Center, with puck drop at 7:05 PM. The Mallards will battle the
Fort Wayne Komets.

The foundation’s namesake, Port Byron native Nick Strub, was a hockey player with the Quad Cities Ice Eagles from 1996-1999. He died of Ewing’s sarcoma in 2011 at age 29.
