WASHINGTON DC (February 13, 2019) — US Sens Chuck Grassley, Thom Tillis, John Cornyn, and Ben Sasse, members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, today introduced legislation requiring disclosure of third-party litigation financing agreements in civil lawsuits. Through such agreements, hedge-funds and other commercial lenders finance the cost of civil litigation in return for a portion of any recovery.

WASHINGTON DC (February 11, 2019) — Representatives Dave Loebsack and Darin LaHood today led a bipartisan group of their colleagues in calling for a multi-year extension of the biodiesel tax credit. In a letter to House Leadership, the lawmakers called for swift action in the House to ensure our farmers and producers have the certainty they need to support the more than 60,000 good paying jobs here in the US that are part of the biodiesel industry.
