DES MOINES, IOWA (October 20, 2021) — The Iowa Restaurant Association and The Soyfoods Council challenged four Iowa chefs to create consumer-friendly recipes using soy. Each made an original salad dressing, featuring Mori-Nu soft silken tofu as the base. The recipes are featured in a series of Youtube videos where viewers are invited into the chefs’ kitchens to see how the dressing are made, as well as to hear about the flavor profiles and health considerations. 

BETTENDORF, IOWA (October 7, 2021) — On October 21, ProStart® culinary students from Burlington High School and Davenport Community Schools will face-off in a Top Chef-style competition at the Quad Cities Waterfront Convention Center. With just one hour on the clock, student teams will work with a professional chef to create an appetizer and entrée for judging. Teams are competing for cash prizes to enhance their culinary classrooms.

DES MOINES, IOWA (June 4, 2021) — Saturday, June 5 marks the first Iowa Pint Day, a release day of a collectable beer glass supporting Iowa breweries. Only 1,000 of these collectible pint glasses were made and are spread out across the state at participating Iowa breweries.
