Keto is Here! First Rhinoceros Ever to Come to the Niabi Zoo

COAL VALLEY, ILLINOIS (May 28, 2021) — The Niabi Zoo is excited to announce the arrival of Keto, a two-year-old male Southern White Rhinoceros at the Niabi Zoo, and the first Rhino species of any kind to be held at our zoo. In early December 2020, we kicked off our fundraising campaign to bring this new and exciting animal species to the Niabi Zoo and the Quad Cities community, and it was a smashing success.

QCA Hiring Fair Concentrates on 10th to 12th Grade Students

BETTENDORF, IOWA (May 27, 2021) — The Quad Cities Chamber and IowaWORKS have partnered with local school districts to hold a QCA Hiring Fair for tenth to twelfth grade students. The event will be held 2-6PM on Thursday, June 3, at the RiverCenter, 136 E 3rd St, Davenport, Iowa. Masks are recommended.

Earth Day Fair at Freight House Farmers Market

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 17, 2021) — Progressive Action for the Common Good announces that the third annual Earth Day Fair will be held at the Freight House Farmers Market on Saturday, May 22, 9AM-2PM. Although Earth Day was April 22, the Fair was postponed due to the possibility of flooding.  The Fair is co-sponsored by the Freight House Farmers Market and WVIK.

We will talk about the associated signs and symptoms of different mental-health disorders. Also, we will talk about when to get professional help and how to do it.
