Celebrate spring with the Library’s first ever Peeps Diorama Contest! Make a shoebox-sized diorama based on a book of your choice, using marshmallow Peeps. Entries can be turned in from Monday, March 19 through Saturday March 31 at Eastern (6000 Eastern Avenue) where they will be on display. A winner will be chosen by the library staff on Monday, April 2 and will receive a prize!

Join LULAC Deputy State Director Maria Bribriesco and Margie Mejia-Caraballo of Quad Cities Interfaith for a presentation on the implications of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) deadline at Eastern (6000 Eastern Avenue) on Friday, February 23 at 4:00pm.

The World Affairs Council of the Quad Cities (WACQC) and Quad Cities Alliance for Immigrants and Refugees (QCAIR) are teaming up with St. Ambrose University’s International Studies program to host this year’s annual World Cultures Festival. We will be celebrating and honoring diversity and promoting cultural awareness through the Quad Cities. There will be a fashion show, cultural educational displays, food, dances, a silent auction, and more.
