GiGi’s Playhouse to host annual Superhero 5K, 1 Mile Walk, and Dash for Down Syndrome

Lauren Schroeder, a senior at Rivermont Collegiate, was born with only 20% blood supply and had to be given blood to survive. In 2017 she was diagnosed with Chronic Anemia and Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome. She will require blood to managing these diseases for the rest of her life.
