Join dancers from Ballet Quad Cities for an hour of movement and music as we bring the poetry of Shel Silverstein to life. Meet us at Fairmount (3000 Fairmount Street) on Thursday, March 29 at 6:00pm. Reading has never been so much fun as everyone learns to “dance me a story.”

On Saturday, March 17, wear green (even if you're not Irish) to be like our green tree frogs. You can meet a couple of our frogs up close and personal after the breakfast which starts at 8:30am. Learn why frogs are so important to many ecosystems and why many of their species are at the greatest risk today. Then, go see our colorful frogs (blue, yellow, and more) in their Zoo habitats at our Reptile Building.

Hop to it!

If you've thought about art and the riverfront, or, just how to make the riverfront more cool, we would like your help. The City of Davenport, the Downtown Davenport Partnership and the Figge Art Museum will host an open house from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on March 20, the first step in developing an integrated art plan for the city’s riverfront.
