The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) will conduct its 26th annual national food drive on Saturday, May 12, 2018. The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, the country's largest single-day food drive, provides residents with an easy way to donate food to those in need. The local goal is to collect 100,000 meals.

TPQC is excited to be hosting a fun night of TV themed trivia! Our emcee for the evening will be WQAD’s Eric Sorensen and he plans to channel his best “Alex Trebek” to reel off questions to our participants. The legacy of Dick and Mary Jo Stanley, two of Muscatine’s most prominent and generous citizens, will be celebrated with a series of events on May 20, 2018. Local organizers are hoping to showcase the wide ranging impact of the Stanleys, who passed away late last year, on Muscatine, the state, and the world.

DAVENPORT, Iowa, April 22, 2018 – MCC QC is hosting a Neighborhood Parking Lot Rummage Sale on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 9am-5pm. The rummage sale will be held in the parking lot of MCCQC located at 2930 W. Locust Street in Davenport across the street from the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds.

Professor and historian Art Pitz will be presenting his annual Middle East lecture series at the Davenport Public Library and Bettendorf Public Library in April and May.  Pitz will be discussing the complexities and hot-button topics relating to the Middle East, beginning with “Israel Celebrates Its 70th Birthday: Part I” at Bettendorf (2950 Learning Campus Dr) on Monday, April 30 at 6:30

AMANA, Iowa- The fourth annual Wurst Festival will be held in the historical Amana Colonies on June 16, 2018. Named the Best New Event by the Iowa Tourism Commission in 2015, Wurst Festival is a one day event with the gates opening at 11am at the Market Barn area in the center of the village of Amana.
