Living Proof Exhibit grew out of a friendship between two women who used art as therapy in coping with a diagnosis of breast cancer. The two women curated their first exhibit at Bucktown Center for the Arts in Davenport in 2010. Since that time, Living Proof Exhibit has partnered with the Figge Art Museum, the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, UnityPoint Health-Trinity Cancer Center, and the Peoria Public Library to display works of art by cancer patients and survivors.

The historic Hauberg Estate Terraced Gardens (originally designed by landscape architect, Jens Jensen in 1909) will be receiving some much-needed attention this Thursday, 9/21/17

For years, no one seemed to know exactly where the original blueprints of the historic Hauberg mansion in Rock Island, IL were being stored. With their mission to fully restore the mansion, carriage house and surrounding landscape, the Friends of Hauberg Civic Center Foundation were especially interested in discovering their whereabouts.
