DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 8, 2024)— The Odyssey Experience is playing at Davenport Junior Theatre from Saturday, October 12, through October 20, 1PM and 4PM on Saturdays and 3PM on Sundays. The interactive sixty-minute play is based on Homer’s epic The Odyssey. The Junior Theatre cast includes 24 students ages ten through eighteen, led by Ashley Becher, our Artistic Director.
MOLINE, ILLINOIS (October 7, 2024) — The Black Box Theatre once again dips into the canon of writer Jeffrey Hatcher with their new production of Dial M for Murder. The theatre opened their doors with his “Murderers” and continues with his newest play, adapted from the classic thriller written by Frederick Knott. The play was also made into a brilliant Alfred Hitchcock film starring Grace Kelly and Ray Milland.
MOLINE, ILLINOIS (September 12, 2024) — Using nature as both muse and medium, rising artist and ecologist Adriana McBride utilizes her ecology background to sustainably hand-source the natural pigments used in her artwork. In her latest exhibition, she captivates art enthusiasts with her dual collections, "West Coast Art Tour" and "Quad Cities," currently being showcased at downtown Moline's Black Box Theatre until December 31, 2024.
