MOUNT CARROLL, ILLINOIS (February 6, 2024) — Timber Lake Playhouse, the premier professional summer theatre of northwest Illinois, announces auditions for local children, teens, and adults for their upcoming 2024 Season.
MOLINE, ILLINOIS (January 29, 2024) — The downtown Moline theatre, The Black Box, begin their eighth season with the chamber musical Thrill Me: The Leopold and Loeb Story with a book, music, and lyrics by Stephen Dolginoff. New for the theatre this year is a three-week run of each production.
MOUNT CARROLL, ILLINOIS (December 6, 2023) — Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley are together again to celebrate the holidays in the “Million Dollar Quartet Christmas.” The heartwarming holiday musical is set to play at Timber Lake Playhouse December 1 through 10.

Auditions for Jane Eyre: The Musical are December 10 and are held at City View Celebrations, 701 12th Street, Moline, on December 10, 3-5PM

Written by Cheryl Coons with music by Eric Lane Barnes, Michael Duff, Beckie Menzie, and Tom Sivik, the cabaret-styled show features a potpourri of song styles, from jazz to Doo Wop.

Facing a midlife crisis, film director Guido Contini dreads his next birthday, which finds him at a creative crossroads. The play is based on the musical by Maury Yeston and book by Arthur Kopit.
