WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (June 4, 2025) — Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences recognizes Spring 2025 award recipients.

Robert Gallagher, a native of Bettendorf, Iowa (52722), received the following honors:

Gold Humanism Honor Society, members were nominated by their peers for compassionate care to patients, creating a community of caring in the workplace and serving as leaders in the practice of humanism.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 4, 2025) What follows is a summer education program that invites the public to learn about the history, ecology, and current happenings along the Mississippi River and surrounding watershed in the Quad Cities area. Participants can cruise the Mississippi River on the Channel Cat Water Taxi or enjoy a leisurely Riverine Walk as expert guides present topics ranging from information about local river wildlife to stories of early Quad Cities history.

Made by Noraxon, this innovative system enhances DMU's capabilities in clinical applications, research, and education, benefiting programs in physical therapy, sports performance, and broader research initiatives.

SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI (June 4, 2025) — Each semester, students at Missouri State University who attain academic excellence are named to the Dean's List.

For undergraduate students, criteria include enrollment in at least twelve credit hours during the spring semester and at least a 3.50 grade-point average (on a 4.00 scale).
