FAYETTE, IOWA (March 14, 2025) — Upper Iowa University (UIU) will celebrate its ninth annual Giving Days on Tuesday, March 25, and Wednesday, March 26, 2025. This exciting event provides alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends of the University the opportunity to positively impact future UIU students' lives. Adding to the excitement, National Peacock Day also falls on March 25, making it the perfect time to show our UIU pride.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (March 12, 2025) — Augustana College’s Center for the Advancement of Community Health and Wellness is leading a project to better understand maternal health experiences and outcomes for women in the Quad Cities. 

Women between the ages of 18-45 who have been pregnant within the past two years are invited to take part in the survey.

MONMOUTH, ILINOIS (March 10, 2025) — During their four years on campus, Monmouth College's Class of 2025 has had the opportunity to hear some outstanding Commencement speakers.

Their freshman year, it was Morningstar CEO Kunal Kapoor, a 1997 Monmouth graduate. The next year featured former Congressman and presidential candidate Dick Gephardt. Last year, it was actress Sigourney Weaver and her husband, writer/director Jim Simpson.
