WHITEWATER, WISCONSIN (November 17, 2025) — Aiden Fleetwood from Bettendorf, Iowa, who is studying Arts and Science AAS at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, is part of the men's wheelchair basketball team for the 2025-26 season.

The UW-Whitewater men's wheelchair basketball program is a club sport that competes nationally. The Warhawks have won fourteen national championships since 1982, most recently in 2024 and including a three-peat in 2014, 2015, and 2016.

KENOSHA, WISCONSIN (November 14, 2025) — A select group of Carthage College music students participated in the Wisconsin National Association of Teachers of Singing Vocal Auditions competition at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in November. Each student was assigned to a category based on their age and musical selections (Classical, Commercial, and/or Musical Theatre).

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (November 12, 2025) — Three faculty members from Des Moines University Medicine and Health Sciences were awarded the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine inaugural Compassionate Community Grant.

The grant program, launched in connection with the Educating Leaders 2025 Friday Forum, provides small grants ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 to pre-accredited and accredited Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine to spark actionable culture change.
