Illinois partnership helps first responders do lifesaving work
WHEELING (Dec. 18, 2017) — A new partnership between Illinois and FirstNet will ensure that the lifesaving advantages of enhanced wireless broadband technology are available to public safety personnel statewide, Gov. Bruce Rauner announced today.

Residents may set out up to three extra bags of garbage without an extra garbage sticker on their regular collection day the week following Christmas; Tuesday, December 26 through Saturday, December 30. WASHINGTON, Dec. 14, 2017 – Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue today highlighted U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) investments in Fiscal Year 2017 that will help construct or improve infrastructure and boost economic growth in rural communities.
Southbound Eastern Ave between Pleasant and Locust will be closed for installation of a new power pole beginning Thursday, December 21st. Work should be complete on Saturday, December 23rd. A detour will be posted for southbound traffic.
City of Davenport will observe Christmas Eve & Christmas Day as holidays on
Monday, December 25th and Tuesday, December 26th.
All City of Davenport offices & the Public Works Center will be closed.
Police Department front desk and records office will be closed.
Library Main, Fairmount and Eastern branches will be closed.
River’s Edge facility will be closed on Sunday, December 24th & Monday, December 25th and open normal business hours (7a-7p) on Tuesday, December 26th.
