Des Moines, Iowa (March 26, 2018) - Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds will meet with representatives from Iowa One Call (IOC) and Common Ground Iowa (CGI) on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the State Capitol to officially sign the "April is Safe Digging Month" proclamation.

Diamond Vogel Paint and Keep Iowa Beautiful announced the grant awards for the 2018 Paint Iowa Beautiful program. The program provides free paint to a wide variety of public service projects throughout Iowa. This year, and 2019, Diamond Vogel agreed to expand the paint allocation to include Iowa's 70 state parks. 2020 will mark the 100th anniversary of Iowa's state park system.

This is a critical time to show solidarity with our Baltic allies given Russian aggression against Ukraine starting in 2014, following on Russian military intervention in the Republic of Georgia in 2008.


WASHINGTON – Sen. Chuck Grassley said today that summer internships for college-aged Iowans are available. Applications are due Thursday, March 15.

Internships are available in Grassley offices in Washington, D.C., Cedar Rapids, Council Bluffs, Davenport, Des Moines, Sioux City and Waterloo. The summer internship program is divided into two separate sessions. The first session runs from May 21 through June 29 and the second runs from July 10 to August 10.
