WASHNGTON DC (November 6, 2023) — The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), has announced seven health centers in Iowa are part of the top 10 percent of health centers nationwide receiving a Gold Health Center Quality Leader badge for their achievements in improving health outcomes and providing high-quality care for patients in rural and underserved communities.

DES MOINES, IOWA (November 3, 2023) — The Iowa Hospital Association’s Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation will award sixty post-secondary health-care scholarships of up to $3,000 per year (two years maximum) and $1,000 to students enrolling in emergency medical technology/technician certification programs.
