MOLINE, ILLINOIS (May 27, 2021) — Midwest Hope and Healing continues their legacy of care by offering grants through their endowed fund at The Moline Foundation to support local non-profits and faith-based organizations which help cancer patients and their families. Founded in August 2003, Midwest Hope and Healing supports patients and families fighting cancer throughout the Quad Cities region.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (May 18, 2021) — Project NOW has partnered with the 14th Judicial Circuit in Rock Island County, the Rock Island County Bar Association, Prairie State Legal Services Inc, and the Salvation Army to develop an Eviction Diversion Program (EDP). The goal of the program is to cope with the onslaught of evictions once the Governor’s moratorium on evictions is lifted — possibly in August.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (May 7, 2021) — Child Abuse Council/AOK Network, The Moline Foundation, Moline Public Library, River Bend Foodbank, and University of Illinois Extension are joining forces to offer a virtual simulation about living in poverty called $1,000 to Spend on May 18, 2021, 1:30-3PM. A follow-up workshop on SocioEconomic Differences will be on June 8, 2021, 1:30-3PM. Attendance at simulation is not required for workshop or vice versa.
