BETTENDORF, IOWA (March 12, 2021) Nearly a year into the pandemic, United Way Quad Cities awarded $109,528 to 11 local non-profits helping to meet residents’ emerging and evolving needs related to their education, income, and health.

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (March 5, 2021) The Iowa Health Care Association (IHCA) Foundation is offering 75 scholarships, totaling $167,500 to help individuals interested in pursuing or advancing their career in long-term care. This is up from 33 scholarships offered last year. Scholarship opportunities are available for current long-term care employees, veterans and high school students.

CORALVILLE, IOWA (February 15, 2021) — Applications are now being accepted for 2022 grants. To be eligible, proposed projects must focus primarily on serving the needs and aspirations of women and girls in Iowa. To this end, six specific areas have been identified as the most critical barriers for Iowa women and girls, and all grant applications must address one of these barriers.
