The funds are collected from member “happy and sad” announcement donations and placed into a (literal) piggy bank during weekly meetings.

JOHNSTON, IOWA (December 17, 2020) — United Ways of Iowa partnered with researchiQ at The University of Northern Iowa to commission a survey about the financial impacts of COVID-19 on Iowa households. The three main concerns reported by respondents were a second wave of virus activity and closures, a household member contracting COVID-19, and mental-health issues.
MOLINE, ILLINOIS (Decembr 1, 2020) — The Moline Foundation is pleased to announce it is accepting applications for the 2021 Vietnam Veterans Scholarship for Veterans Chap. 299. This year, three scholarships worth up to $1,500 each are available for pursuit of either an apprenticeship, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or a certificate.
