BETTENDORF, IOWA (January 12, 2021) — Two Quad Cities-area groups have been awarded Transformation Grants from the Quad Cities Community Foundation to bring equitable solutions to the bi-state region.

IOWA CITY, IOWA (January 5, 2021) — In the spring of 2021, Goodwill of the Heartland plans to relocate its Iowa City administrative offices and e-commerce division. The organization will consolidate several of its logistics facilities into the former Klein Tools facility at 8200 6th St SW in Cedar Rapids.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (December 28, 2020) — The Kiwanis Club of Moline, Illinois, recently issued $200.00 grants to each of 5 local organizations, for a total of $1,000.00. The funds are collected from member “happy and sad” announcement donations and placed into a (literal) piggy bank during weekly meetings.

JOHNSTON, IOWA (December 17, 2020) — United Ways of Iowa partnered with researchiQ at The University of Northern Iowa to commission a survey about the financial impacts of COVID-19 on Iowa households. The three main concerns reported by respondents were a second wave of virus activity and closures, a household member contracting COVID-19, and mental-health issues.
