Quad Cities Community Foundation Grants Over Half a Million Dollars to 32 Non-Profits

BETTENDORF, IOWA (September 17, 2021) —The Quad Cities Community Foundation today announced the recipients of a total of $566,000 through its Coordinated Field of Interest Grant program. Made possible by donors to the Community Foundation, this year’s program pools resources from 11 different Field of Interest Funds as well as the Quad Cities Community Impact Fund.

Open Door Crisis Assistance Secures Housing, Furniture for Displaced Crestwood Resident

DAVENPORT, IOWA (September 14, 2021) — Last month, residents of Crestwood Apartments in Davenport faced the acute stress of finding new housing after the complex was deemed unsafe to live in. For one individual, relief came through Open Door Crisis Assistance, a program of SAL Family and Community Services (SAL) dedicated to helping those in crisis access community resources.
