BETTENDORF, IOWA (February 16, 2022) — The Quad Cities Community Foundation today announced that it has surpassed $100 million in grants since its founding in 1964.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (February 16, 2022) — United Way hopes to help close COVID-related gaps in youth literacy by connecting hundreds of volunteers with students across the Quad Cities for weekly one-on-one reading sessions.

United Way launched Read United QC, a community-wide awareness and action campaign to help 500 pre-school-to-third-grade struggling readers to get the skills they need to succeed in school and life.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (February 9, 2022) — The results are in, and the members of Ascentra Credit Union have raised more than $23,000 through the credit union’s Ride 50 auto-loan promotion during the 2021 holiday season. Beginning in October 2021, Ascentra members who qualified for an auto loan or refinance received $50 to help with holiday spending, as well as a $50 donation to the Salvation Army in their community.
