Mr. President:
Today, I want to express my strong concerns about countries around the world potentially implementing discriminatory tax laws that target US-based multinational companies operating in the high-tech, or digital, industry.
QUAD CITIES (February 7, 2019) — Today, the Illinois State Senate voted to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour. The bill increased the state’s minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2025 and $13 an hour for those under 18 by 2025. The total vote was 39-18. The Quad Cities Chamber worked closely with Senator Neil Anderson to secure his “no” vote.
DES MOINES, IOWA (February 7, 2019)— Tomorrow, Cory Booker will kick off the first leg of the Iowa Rise Tour, his first trip to the First in the Nation caucus state as a presidential candidate.
