When John Lennon was killed on Dec. 8, 1980, he left behind some 200 hours of film and video footage, most of it never publicly seen. The people who made Imagine: John Lennon had access to all of it - and we're giving you a chance to see the movie they created on the Putnam GIANT screen as part of the "Imagine An Evening with John Lennon" event.
(Moline, Ill.) Living Proof Exhibit, which celebrates the creative spirit of cancer survivors, is teaming up with the Muscatine Art Center to provide creative art sessions to cancer patients, survivors, and families touched by cancer. Two creative art sessions will be offered in October 2017 at the Muscatine Art Center. Trained instructors will guide participants in using art as one way to cope with a cancer diagnosis.
