Summer Camps at the Putnam are an adventure in hands-on fun led by our experienced museum educators! Let your kids spend the summer discovering, inventing and engaging in amazing experiences at the Putnam. From half- to full-day options, there is something for kids Kindergarten through eighth grade!

Davenport, IA (March 22, 2017, 6 to 9 p.m.) - "Embracing Hard and Soft Edges" an exhibit featuring five regional women artists held at the Beréskin Fine Art Gallery and Studio

Local author Thomas R. Baker will present material from his book, The Scared Cause of Union: Iowa in the Civil War, published in November 2016 by the University of Iowa Press, at the Muscatine Art Center. Guests will learn about the unique place Iowa holds in Civil War history, meet Mr. Baker, and have the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of The Sacred Cause of Union. The program will be held on March 30, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the Art Center’s Music Room.

Brucemore announces the re-opening of the 21-room mansion for guided tours on March 1, 2017 following an annual two-month hiatus to allow deep cleaning and interior preservation.
