Bill extends Essential Air Service, continuing air service for small communities

May 1, 2018 HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA -- The month of May is often associated with the beginning of the summer season and the warmer weather brings large numbers of people to the water; backyard pools, beaches, waterfronts and public aquatic facilities. Unfortunately, the month of May also signals an increase in drowning tragedies across our nation.

Davenport Public Library has linked up with MOBIUS, an interstate library consortium, to provide its card-holders access to millions more books, audiobooks, DVDs, CDs and magazines. You can search the MOBIUS catalog to place holds on items from a wide variety of partnering public and academic libraries. Items are able to be shipped to the Davenport Public Library location of your choice for pick up.

Come join us for our first trivia night of the year! Teams of up to 8 for $10/person. Bring your own snacks and drinks to share with your table. Baked goods for sale, 50/50 raffle, and door prizes. All proceeds will go to the ECW for their outreach programs.

River Bandits Lose Control in 4-2 Loss to Cedar Rapids

Davenport, IA — The Quad Cities River Bandits could not overcome a season-high 12 walks issued by their pitching staff as they dropped the series finale 4-2 to the Cedar Rapids Kernels on Sunday afternoon.  The teams split the four-game series over three days.
