DUBUQUE, IOWA (January 23, 2020) — Athletes from around the state will compete in Dubuque this weekend, January 24-26, celebrating the 2020 Winter Iowa Games presented by Grinnell Mutual. Competitions will be held in 10 events at 11 venues throughout the Dubuque community.

IOWA CITY, IOWA (January 23, 2020) — More than 500 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the President's List for the 2019 fall semester.

A case currently before the US Supreme Court, United States v Sineneng-Smith, will presumably clarify the matter, hopefully in favor of free speech. Evelyn Sineneng-Smith, an immigration consultant, allegedly cheated her clients by charging them $5,900 to file applications for a permanent residency program she knew they didn't qualify for.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 22, 2020)  A parent group at St Paul the Apostle School is hosting a movie they encourage all parents and educators to attend. St Paul’s Navigating Technology Together (NTT) will show Screenagers on Tuesday, February 11. Doors open at 6PM and the movie starts at 6:30PM in St Paul’s Denning Hall. This is a free event.
