The 10th Anniversary Water Party is a fundraiser sponsored by Empower Tanzania to provide clean drinking water to people from villages throughout Tanzania. Patrons will enjoy a wine and whiskey tasting, “small bites" by Chason, an art auction, a silent auction that includes a Tanzanite donated by Doland's Jewelers, and music by DJ Davey Rockit.

Winner of seven 1977 Tony Awards and one of the 25 longest-running musicals in Broadway history, the iconic comic-strip adaptation Annie will be brought to life by the Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse November 7 through December 30, demonstrating why the New York Times called the show “an unstoppable sunshine steamroller,” and the Wall Street Journal opined, “Even if you're a child-hating curmudgeon, you'll come home grinning in spite of yourself.”

The disparate artistic mediums of painting, woodwork, and blown glass will be showcased November 1 through December 31 at the Quad City Arts International Airport Gallery, with four exhibitions blending as one via new works by Pam Ohnemus, Sri Rao, and artisans from Quad City Woodturners and the Davenport studio Hot Glass Inc.

Best known as the founder, lead singer/songwriter, and guitarist of punk-rock outfit Against Me!, Laura Jane Grace and her Florida-based band The Devouring Mothers play a November 2 RIBCO concert on the rockers' 2018 “Midwest Takeover Tour,” the artist's 2016 album Shape Shift with Me called “densely packed, vicious, and heartbreaking” by Pitchfork magazine, and the artist herself notable for being one of the first highly visible punk rock musicians to publicly indentify as transgender.
