IA/IL QUAD-CITIES – David Tahere, a 2004 graduate of Davenport High School, is hosting a benefit concert on Thursday, March 30 to benefit the Davenport Community Schools’ vocal music programs. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 1702 Iowa St., Davenport, IA. All ages are welcome to attend. Free childcare will be provided during the concert for attendees.

AMES, IA (03/22/2017)-- Danielle Manna of Geneseo, IL (61254) will receive a scholarship from the Iowa State University College of Human Sciences to support a student teaching experience. Manna is a senior studying Elementary Education. Students who are selected to receive this scholarship may use it to offset the cost of living while gaining relevant experience to advance their career.

Bettendorf, Iowa, March 17, 2017 - This winter Rivermont made public its plans to add a boarding component to the High School starting with the fall 2017 school year. With the onset of spring comes more good news. The school is adding a 2-year-old program to its Elementary School.
