Teens (ages 11-19) are invited to the 2nd Annual Teen Silent Reading Party Monday, June 24, 6-7:30PM, at Eastern (6000 Eastern Ave), where they’ll read a lot, compete in random challenges, and win so, so many prizes — all while staying completely silent for an hour and a half.

LECLAIRE, IOWA (May 31, 2019) — A popular event with locals and visitors is the “LeClaire Citywide Garage Sale” on June 7 and 8. If you enjoy “picking” in your own back yard, LeClaire is a great place to find elusive treasures. There are over 55 garage sales in town. DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 29, 2019) — By popular request, The Davenport Public Library’s Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center presents Summer Book Arts Academy. A hands-on workshop series offering community members an opportunity to learn more about book arts and how to create them. Each workshop will cover a different type of book arts spanning from simple binding techniques to lettering arts. Registration is required.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 28, 2019) — Teens (11-19) are invited to Teen Switch+ and hang out with friends, eat snacks, and play mini-Smash Bros & MarioKart tournaments on the Nintendo Switch. Other gaming systems & tabletop games available upon request. Teens only (11-19).
