Teen Advisory Board at Davenport Public Library

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 28, 2019) — Teens (ages 11-19) are invited to hang out, eat snacks, learn about volunteer opportunities, and share ideas on how to make the Library awesome!

The Teen Advisory Board will meet Monday, June 17, 6:30–7:30PM at Eastern (6000 Eastern Ave) and Monday, July 15, 6:30–7:30PM, at Eastern.

Summer Book Explorers at Davenport Public Library

Teen DIY Universe at Davenport Public Library

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 23, 2019) — Effective immediately, the Davenport Public Library will issue one FREE replacement card per year! If you lost have your library card, you no longer have to pay to replace it! Stop on in at any service desk for more information and to replace your card.

Davenport Public Library Adds Two Streaming Services: Acorn TV and Pongalo

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 20, 2019) — The Davenport Public Library announces the addition of two streaming services, Acorn TV and Pongalo.

Davenport library cardholders now have unlimited streaming access to British TV and films as well as Spanish-language telenovelas and movies.

Hanson Family Jugglers at Davenport Public Library

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 20, 2019) — Get ready for a unique show on Monday, June 10, at 4PM, at Eastern (6000 Eastern Ave), that will dazzle you with award-winning juggling, unicycling, and a dose of humor that will have everyone laughing! After the show, everyone will learn to juggle with Mark Hanson, the World’s Fastest 3-Ball Juggler, as their teacher! Kids will have a blast playing with bubble-sticks, spinning plates, and being challenged with nifty plastic balance-rods!

Figge Art to Go for Adults at Davenport Public Library

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 20, 2019) — Interested in art? Join educators from the Figge Art Museum on Monday, June 10, 6PM, at Main (321 N Main St) as they highlight their latest exhibit featuring artist Vanessa German, who creates sculptures from found objects. An activity based on the exhibition will follow the presentation. Registration is required.
