Davenport library cardholders now have unlimited streaming access to British TV and films as well as Spanish-language telenovelas and movies.

After the show, everyone will learn to juggle with Mark Hanson, the World’s Fastest 3-Ball Juggler, as their teacher! Kids will have a blast playing with bubble-sticks, spinning plates, and being challenged with nifty plastic balance-rods!

Join educators from the Figge Art Museum on Monday, June 10, 6PM, at Main (321 N Main St) as they highlight their latest exhibit featuring artist Vanessa German, who creates sculptures from found objects. DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 14, 2019) — “Girls Who Code” is an afterschool club for girls in 6th through 12th grade who are interested in coding. The club encourages beginners to explore coding in a fun and friendly environment.

This program takes place at Fairmount (3000 Fairmount Street) every Tuesday through July beginning June 4 at 3PM. Registration is required.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (May 13, 2019) — Join Poet Laureate Dick Stahl at Schwiebert Park in Rock island for Poetry along the Banks. This poetry workshop kicks off River Action’s Summer Education Series with a chance to explore your creativity writing poetry along the banks of the Mississippi. Cost is $5.
